Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 29 October 2026
These terms apply when you use the Sexology Down Under website, book a counselling session or buy from our online shop. By doing any of those things, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Our services
Sexology Down Under provides sexology and intimacy counselling for individuals and couples, delivered online across Australia. Sessions are educational and therapeutic. Information on this website is general in nature and is not a substitute for advice about your own situation.
Not a medical or emergency service
Our services do not replace care from a doctor and are not an emergency service. If you are in crisis or need urgent help, call 000, contact your GP, or call Lifeline on 13 11 14.
Bookings and session fees
You can book through our online calendar or by contacting us. The session fee, length and payment method are shown or confirmed when you book. Sessions run over a video call, and you are responsible for joining from a private place with a reliable internet connection.
Cancellations and rescheduling
If you need to cancel or move a session, please let us know as early as you can so the time can be offered to someone else. Any cancellation fee is confirmed when you book.
Confidentiality
What you share in sessions is kept confidential and handled under our Privacy Policy. The only exceptions are where you agree to us sharing it, or where the law requires or allows disclosure, for example where there is a serious risk to someone's safety.
